A packed house is expected Friday night in Brandon at Bulldog Stadium. Tupelo rolls into town with Dandy Dozen running back Jaeden Hill, the Mississippi State signee, rushed over 225 yards in the championship game last year, completing a 2000 yard season. Brandon’s Dandy Dozen Player, Preston Ashley, who has committed to Colorado, headlines the defense for the bulldogs. Tyson Robinson is a star running back in his own right. Robinson along with returning quarterback, Sladen Shack both want to avenge the loss to Tupelo last season. Shack completed 18 of 30 passes with 1 interception. Robinson was held in check by his standards only gaining 57 yards on 13 carries.
Tupelo ran the table last season finishing 14-0 with the 7A Championship. Can they do it again? Can Brandon make it back to the championship game for the fourth time in five years? Friday night is step one for both schools.
